So apparently Ronnie Edwards can play as a DM.

Brilliant. We're crying out for cover there. Turns out we might have had the solution under our noses all along. Took the QPR manager about two days to work it out. <doh>

Reading this did get me excited for next season though. Edwards & Charles (if we can keep hold of him) are very talented young players. I’d also love to see Ballard & Amo given solid run ins next year

Just when I thought we couldn’t get any worse
To be fair to Gav he has mostly played with a crap defence in from of him or a lot of mucking about at the back. Most keepers would struggle to cope with the amount of chances that the opposition have had. A good example of this is Ramsdale.

I agree he'd likely do better with a better defensive screen in front of him. His save percentage was the worst in the PL and even the worst in the Championship last season which doesn't make me want to persist with him. I suppose the hope there was that our tactics meant that when we gave the ball away it would generally be a pretty easy chance to score from that we would be giving up. However it was noticeable that even a rusty, ageing and fairly limited Alex McCarthy made a difference when he came in at the end of last season.
