Quality manager. He’d reached the end of his tether here but in hindsight we should have just fully backed him with dragans cash. The decisions since him leaving have been catastrophic.

Glad he’s doing well, but I thought he would tbh.

About the only thing I can claim to be genuinely ITK on, is how much the squad hated Ralph. Couldn't stand him by the end.

Come on saints, it’s worth a phone call.

Saw this just now on BBC, definitely worth a punt. Maybe a combination of him & Carsley could help to get the best out of our young squad along with persuade more of the best young English talent to join us

I don't have anything specific at the moment. Hence why I haven't said anything about it yet (only got the basics when we played Everton a few weeks ago). Will find out hopefully in the not too distant future.

To be honest we should have kept Ralph and replaced the squad then

We did spend £100m+ in Ralph’s last window here didn’t we?

Trying to rectify a squad which had minimal investment in it for a number of years in one window didn’t work. If the players had fallen out with Ralph then that usually signals an end for the manager, in hindsight probably should’ve just binned off all the players who had fallen out with him. Not like we were stacked with great players at that time

Carsley's play style seemed way too close to RM to change our present trajectory imo.

I thought England under him looked very much like Saints in the Championship last season, the gap in quality v the opposition pushed results through in spite of the style, against better sides it would likely have crumbled.

In a rare piece of good news my Fulham ticket arrived today. Even better Martin will have to walk past the Saints fans to get to the dugout as the tunnel is on the opposite side. If he's still in the job, I fully intend to give him plenty of **** as he walks past.

Forest away on sale on Monday. Starting on 4.

Really looking forward to this one, only been to City ground once and it was 20 years ago and not with Saints.

Was good to see Mohammed Salisu represent the Saints brand in Europe last night, messing about with short passes around his own area before gifting Saka a goal from a short pass back to the GK within the six yard box. That's as close an experience of watching Saints in the Champions League as you can get.

Forest on sale at 9:30.

United also been on general sale since Friday so good opportunity for people who can't normally go away to get a ticket.

If we hadn't sacked Martin I probably wouldn't have bothered with Forest. Now I probably will.

I'm hoping to get some decent seats near the goal for Forest rather than tucked in corner.
