Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is set to undergo surgery on a suspected fractured finger.

The 26-year-old played the entirety of Southampton’s 2-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers last Saturday.

However, the England goalkeeper is set for a spell on the sidelines as he is due to have an operation on his finger on Wednesday. It has yet to be confirmed how long he will be out.

But 999 seems appropriate

I would get Fernandes to call it for premier league survival, but he would pass the phone to Downes, who will pass it to Aribo, back to THB who will pass it sideways to Bednarek, back to Stephens and then backwards to Ramsdale who won't be able to make the call due to his dodgy finger.

We are doomed
