Yes I believe a first. Nice position to be in. I hope we’re not disappointed.
Staff turnover is still a bit higher than I’d expect, but I’d caveat that with that I’ve got no idea what it should be…. We were very good at keeping things the same for a long time and ultimately, that didn’t work at keeping us an EPL club. However, if it’s the same guy, he worked with Antti Niemi, and is 60 yrs old. He’s had a very experienced career and would have to call it a day sometime. Wiki have him listed as working for Brizzle Rovers, but he could be doing it part time…??… or it could be someone different….??
Yeah, Coles originally left to follow Harry when he returned to Pompey. And then after about 18 years away, he randomly turned back up during last season in some sort of youth team goalkeeping role.
Him now leaving that role I'm not sure is anything to read into.
