Not sure where I would move to though. I like that end as we normally attack that end in the second-half but I wouldn't want to be behind the goal. Maybe the tactics will change though to attack the Northam in the second half if it is all home fans so could go to either the Kingsland/Northam or Itchen/Northam corner.

Come and join me a bit further round in block 9 :)

Mine came this morning. Definitely looks like only the back half of Northam will be safe standing.

Why are the club surveys always so convoluted and utterly ****e? Almost like they don't want people to bother.

Also it very much appears to me that the club are putting feelers out for increasing season ticket prices next year with a load of other ****e chucked in with it.

Yeah, a lot of the benefits they suggested for STH's I'm not remotely interested in. I suggested making home cup games free or heavily discounted for STH's.

The best part is when they ask how you define your relationship with the club and one of the options is "I like Southampton but they're not my favourite club" <doh>

I hope anyone didn't select fanattic and is most important thin in their life!

Did you know that in 1976 Chris Nicholl scored all 4 goals in a 2-2 draw between Leicester and Villa?
That's an awful record isn't it...i bet it took him years to live that one down. Great player for us, and possibly my favourite Saints manager because of who he brought through. To follow on from Lawrie was a tough task but I really liked the football we played under Nicholl

Not sure attack is part of RM's plans, more like plod.

Am I the only one who felt more optimistic after the Liverpool game. Didn’t like final score and I wish we were better at finishing <steam>, but we will win games in Championship playing like that.

So just me then <laugh>

I'm less optimistic purely because KWP went off injured and we don't yet know the extent of that. I'm not sure the game itself will have much bearing on our league performances other than we had ANOTHER midweek game and our next opponents in the league didn't. Quite a few of our players looked physically and mentally exhausted for the final 20/30 minutes last night. With Charles and Aribo playing the full game, I really hope that means that Downes is actually finally back.

We definitely beat their press better than I expected for the first 30 mins, not so much after that.

I don’t think can draw many conclusions about how it may go against Champ teams based on that. As we saw against Millwall teams won’t press as much and leave the sort of gaps Edozie and Sulemana were exploiting yesterday. First 20 mins we would beat the press and get the ball to Rothwell who was in acres and he would play in Sulemana or Edozie to run at Liverpool, that won’t happen against any Championship team
