Anfield sold out already!!

Luckily for us the lovely Mrs Lincoln has sorted tickets. 2 away games in a month for Mini Lincoln, he's going to be so excited. Whilst he's a die hard Saints fan, it's hard when all the local kids support the big 6. He'll be able at least to counter that by attending a game in the their home stadium when they haven’t <laugh>. Besides, he loves the big stadiums. Actually I'm going to keep this one a complete surprise. Might tell him I'm picking him up an hour early from school for a dentist appointment or something. I can't wait to see his face :emoticon-0152-heart

When I was about 12 my Dad did that to me. Arsenal away. Loved it. And never forgotten it. (lol though I have forgotten the result)

Watching Sunderland til I die on Netflix looked up the guy who had a shoulder dislocation, I think he’s their captain, found this …

Luke O'Nien got attacked by a Portsmouth fan at Fratton Park after he got accidentally pushed into the stands by a player on the opposing team. O'Nien appeared to get punched, kicked and hurled abuse at by nearby Portsmouth fans

Nice people

Just read article about ex-player Pele and partner who have fostered 70 children since his retirement. If you are asking for a link you don’t know me o_O Apparently there is an initiative between the club and the Council to promote fostering in the City.

I don't remember which game it was, but at a home game this season they came onto the pitch at half time to talk about just that. Had no idea he lived locally as didn't think he was here long enough to have much of a connection with the place! Incredible thing they've done though <applause>

This would be genuinely terrible news. If we don't go up this season it could set us back years if we don't get his replacement right.

Only concern would be like last season when what’s his name went to Chelsea and we are left with no football people at the top level. Could argue that is what led to Jones and Selles being appointed and cost us relegation.

This season is very different in that we aren’t going to be changing manager so if he were to go now it wouldn’t have too much of an immediate impact.

He’s not been here long enough for me to really give much of an opinion on him as a DoF
