Try being at almost any other club and see what the atmosphere is like with our results over the last 2-3 years.

Everton fans were literally chasing their players down the road just for being in a relegation battle, not that I condone that.

If anything I think the players here appear too coddled.

Is it actually any different, can you hear them during games? Would be good if that end of the stadium contributed to atmosphere too.

It's a hell of a lot louder down there now. Definitely noticeable during games.

Yeah I am in the Itchen about midway between the halfway line and edge of the box (incidentally perfect for off-sides) on the Chapel side and it is definitely noticeable. Good I say.

Massively so I would say, very vocal. Make a lot of noise for what appears to be a fairly small number.

They are even trying to get Woolston Ferry going.

I have sat in the chapel just the once - my first ever game as a kid. My main memory of that game was looking over at the Northam and think "that looks way more fun!" My Dad never got us tickets there after that.

Would be great if it had even a half decent atmosphere rather than complete silence.

The Chapel is different to the Northam in many ways and some are good
We sing, but we’re not amongst a lot of singers so you can’t hear all round the ground
We’re very happy where we are, amongst people who have become friends and who aren’t as loud but also aren’t snowflakes when stuff goes wrong

I've got no issue with people who don't want to sing. It's just a shame that it's behind the goal imo, because this should be a more vocal place.

That is exactly where it is,and so long as people are happy to continually hear "we hate pompey" and other moronic anti Pompey songs then I guess the atmosphere is better there for them.
