Ahh, very fond memories of the day we signed a 29 year old "Brazilian wonderkid".
Exactly. Hopefully the Fakers game will be on before they have spent too many billions on new players.
It might not even matter if they have signed some players. Because there is so much involved :
- they need to be the right signings (look at Everton)
- they need to gel together especially if there are lots
If they, for example, signed a whole new back 5 and they all played together for the first time against us it could easily be chaos . Even if it very single one of them is perfectly suited to the premier league
For example - they are linked with Sven Botman from Lille. For all we know he is yet another defender who looks exponentially better due to a familiar experienced face playing next to him.
(And I am sure on FM around 3 years ago he had no pace but I might be misremembering)
Thats so sad. I hope he gets the necessary support moving on.
