Sunday 26th September 2021 14:00 KO SOUTHAMPTON v WOLVERHAMPTON

Referee:
Andy Madley.
Assistants: Richard West, Mark Scholes.
Fourth official: Simon Hooper.
VAR: Paul Tierney.

Last year many fans were hoping we’d get rid of him in the summer. However, he’s buckled down and become a much better player, possibly with better confidence having not been howled at in every home game (personal opinion)
I hope he can get through this fairly quickly as it looks rather like the “gorilla” is still a tad raw (I’m looking forward to seeing highlights of how he played) which means we may be short of cover at CB.
Get well soon, Jack!

To be fair he has buckled down since Charlie has left, Charlie certainly led him astray to the pubs etc.

The Guardian have granted me a week off from the back-breaking physical labour of drawing football cartoons, so I’m afraid you’ll have to wait another week to read my searing analysis of Ralph Hasenhüttl’s waistcoat game. However, as punishment, I’ve been asked to scour my back catalogue and pick out 10 panels from the last few years that I hate the least. Usually when I’m away from my drawing board, a huge story breaks, so feel free to dip in and out of this selection as you wait for the liveblog to refresh with updates on Pep Guardiola’s shock move to Chippenham Town.

Wait... are you saying that's you? You're Squires?

That's what I thought for a moment! That we had proper royalty on the board. Sadly not though...
Sorry to have, unintentionally of course, mislead anyone, I should have added quotation marks. I am looking forward to the "searing analysis" to come. I think prints of Squires's work are available I'll see if there's a catalogue when I've time. Busy sorting out my stern gland first it may need nipping up I hope not repacking.

Mine needed repacking years ago but it's too late now.
