One route to St Mary's is to park (free) at the Ageas Bowl in West End and get the bus (free) to the ground and back, depending where you are travelling from.

There are no parking restrictions and it works like clockwork. The bus leaves on the hour at 13.00 and 14.00hrs and is usually a 1/2hr journey.

Ah-ha ! My hotel is at the Ageas Bowl ! KO is 12:30, so I need to check the bus times. Thanks Kaito.

Got my ticket for the Burnley game ! I`ll be driving to the game for the first time - any recommendations where to park ?

There are three small car parks in Radcliffe Road (SO14 0PH), charge £5-00 or £8-00 depending on which one you use and if you get there early enough. A short, level walk to the Ground. The prime drawback is getting out afterwards, you have go via Northam Bridge route or over the notorious Mount Pleasant Level Crossing which can have the barriers down for the passage of trains for quite a while.

Love this from a United-supporting Saints journalist

He had interesting comments on Danso too. Said there's been talks to extend the loan into next year or sign him outright. Apparently he's seen as a "project". They think he's talented but with our defensive struggles early this year the time wasn't there to get him ready to play the kind of CB role that RH wants. Seems weird but who knows. Everything about Danso and his time here has been odd tbh.

I think of Jack Stephens and Harrison Reed as youngsters in their early twenties, but Stephens is 26 today and Reed 25.
