Normally, I don't think things are black and white - in this case my personal opinion is that it is.
However, I know someone who when they were 19 (30 years ago) somehow ended up on the sex offenders register for 5 years. What I will say is that it could have gone two ways, but a conviction it was. He was 18 and two months, his girlfriend 15 years and 11 months at the time of the consensual act...yes I know she wasn't 16, so couldn't consent etc, however, how many on here have daughters that have had experiences before 16. I don't want to open that can of worms, but he married her and is still married to her today and they have 3 kids of their own. If the club had a rule that anyone convicted of offences couldn't have a ST then that would be unfair. HOWEVER, I strongly believe if you are still on the sexual offenders register for whatever reason, yes, the club should be able to withhold a ticket. My acquaintance is the exception not the norm and the whole reason there is a register is to keep kids and women safe from risky situations.
Tricky subject though...
