Umm what year was the Newcastle brace?
I very much expect Cedric and maybe Oriol to be the ones angling for moves next summer.

Redmond fined for speeding...not just a few miles/hr over (which could happen to anyone) but 30 mph over. Truly awful.
Guessing that's Millbrook Road. Lucky to not get a ban.
Yeah it is.
Can anyone remember why the speed limit was dropped from 50mph to the current 40mph?
And didn't they switch the cameras off, at the time?
Obviously back on now.
I have a wee bit of sympathy for the guy. Not much, but a wee bit. It's an urban dual-carriageway. If one doesn't look at the speed signs, the whole feel of it says '60 mph' to the driver, because that's the speed limit on dual-carriageways. But no. In a fairly smallish section it has a 50 mph, a 40 mph, and lastly right down to a 30 mph area. And a few of those speed signs are obscured by foliage at certain times of the year. Anyone unfamiliar with that road, who unknowingly flirts with the perceived speed limit on it, is going to find they've acquired a fine and points. Do 71 mph on it and you can expect nothing less.
Well OK, it was until recently.None of it is 50mph anymore don't believe.

Funnily enough, I don't think that's his best goal, but Matt does, so who am I to judge.Yep, just done & came on here to make sure people knew but you beat me to it. Funny, Saints & Le Tiss glasses I know, but I really do think that Blackburn goal is his best & THE best. Can't see how anyone can vote for Beckham - good goal but keeper error & I just dislike him!![]()
His Newcastle goal? I'm assuming you mean the lobs over the players. I loved the other one equally. Sometimes more.I'm not voting in protest of his Newcastle goal not being there. Pretty sure it's in timeframe.

I think it's OK to hide cameras. It's not OK to hide speed limit signs though, but once it's obvious what the speed limit is there is no excuse for exceeding it. End of story.I would have a modicum of sympathy if he was caught going west, because that camera is hidden from view, by a signpost, something I thought was illegal.
Maybe it's ok to hide cameras?
