Don't know if this has been put up elsewhere but get voting! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40710224
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ernational-Nathan-Redmond-fined-speeding.html Redmond fined for speeding...not just a few miles/hr over (which could happen to anyone) but 30 mph over. Truly awful.
Players seem to want to leave shortly after becoming regulars in international squads. On that basis it will be Cedric and maybe Gabbiadini?
Yeah it is. Can anyone remember why the speed limit was dropped from 50mph to the current 40mph? And didn't they switch the cameras off, at the time? Obviously back on now.
They weren't working for ages and it was dropped due to a lot of accidents iirc. 40 seems too slow for that road imo.
I have a wee bit of sympathy for the guy. Not much, but a wee bit. It's an urban dual-carriageway. If one doesn't look at the speed signs, the whole feel of it says '60 mph' to the driver, because that's the speed limit on dual-carriageways. But no. In a fairly smallish section it has a 50 mph, a 40 mph, and lastly right down to a 30 mph area. And a few of those speed signs are obscured by foliage at certain times of the year. Anyone unfamiliar with that road, who unknowingly flirts with the perceived speed limit on it, is going to find they've acquired a fine and points. Do 71 mph on it and you can expect nothing less.
Yeah indeed was only a year or so ago I believe. Either way he was doing 70+ so no excuses and lucky to not get a ban imo.
Yep, just done & came on here to make sure people knew but you beat me to it. Funny, Saints & Le Tiss glasses I know, but I really do think that Blackburn goal is his best & THE best. Can't see how anyone can vote for Beckham - good goal but keeper error & I just dislike him!
Funnily enough, I don't think that's his best goal, but Matt does, so who am I to judge. As for the voting, I see that a fairly routine lob for WHU is currently in front of MLT's, so you can see the unbiased nature of the voting [sarcasm]. As the commentator put it. Only Matt Le Tissier could score a goal like that, and only he would think of trying something like that. That's an indication of the measure of Matt's talent and the quality of the goal. Rod Wallace's was pretty damn good too. Both placed goals. Thunderous shots may look superb but there's always that percentage of 'hit and hope' about them. Which is why Beckham's is pretty good too.
His Newcastle goal? I'm assuming you mean the lobs over the players. I loved the other one equally. Sometimes more.
Hey, not his best goal, but watch the action around 9m10s and listen to Barry Davies subsequent comment of Matty. 15 minute highlights of a game I haven't seen in years:
I would have a modicum of sympathy if he was caught going west, because that camera is hidden from view, by a signpost, something I thought was illegal. Maybe it's ok to hide cameras?
I think it's OK to hide cameras. It's not OK to hide speed limit signs though, but once it's obvious what the speed limit is there is no excuse for exceeding it. End of story.
