How could the Echo do it! I innocently opened an article about a former Saints boss (I will not expose you to it directly)....to find it was about Harry Redkrapp. I am interested in a lot of our past players and managers, but why would they believe we would find that of interest. He's a previous boss of West Ham and Portsmouth...but never, never link him with us.

I'm off to stay in an old converted Franciscan monastery in Pistoia next month for a week (popping in to the Rock/Blues festival in the village piazza whilst there). I shall learn that phrase and try it out!

Whatever you do, don't say Sono venuto, sono segnato, sono conquistato [which might seem the right thing to say], because that means, I am come [I came], I'm marked, I'm conquered. Which kind of fits well as a football phrase too. :)

I'm off to Tuscany in 9 days and intend to take a train to visit Pistoia as I am nearby in Montecatini Alto.

I'm glad they included Claude's celebration in this video of Long's goal v Liverpool. It was his great moment. I was surprised that he didn't feature in our best videos and photos of the season....I would have included a shot of his manic moments when we score.

Neil Lennon said he couldn't believe he got Virgil for 2.2 mill euros and he told him when he arrived to enjoy himself because he wouldn't be there for long. Said at 24, he had every chance of being the best in the world. Added he was amazed that no one else came in for him until Saints did.
