My first game for ruddy months yesterday, apart from a poor game I was struck by two things. No phone signal on O2 or Vodafone. The stadium sound seems to have got worse if anything, sounded like the fish men from Stingray. Alongside the elusive new screens it's not really a premium experience these days. I''m puzzled by the lack of mobile signal, it only costs a few hundred pounds to put up boosters for each network. The sound issues have been there since the stadium was built. I guess it's only those paying for admission who suffer these problems, so no hurry to sort it then.
Interesting appointment...... Southampton FC (First Team) v Manchester City FC (First Team) FA Cup Referee: Dean, Michael Assistant Referee: Hussin, Ian Assistant Referee: Smart, Edward Fourth Official: Hooper, Simon Video Assistant Referee: Marriner, Andre Additional Video Assistant Referee: Massey-Ellis, Sian
I've just realised that Marriner was the ref and Dean was VAR for the 0-9 against Leicester. Oh dear! Ultimate trolling by the FA though. Or maybe the 9-0 will be reversed in our favour as the match officials from that night have been reversed.
