Interesting that they specifically said "beyond the control of the Club and our sponsors" Makes me think this is heavily linked to the shirt sponsor or they would have just said beyond our control.
I saw some people moaning that the logo was ironed-on and not satisfactory, but hopefully we will get a replacement sponsor with a decent logo!
How do you work that out....If it was to do with the sponsors they would have said 'beyond the control of the club' surely. It must be down to shirt production.
Because they are defending them. No reason i can see to bring up the sponsors if they weren't involved. For example if the factory had a fire they might say sale is delayed due to circumstances that were beyond control of the club and factory. (or whatever they would call the company making the shirts)
Yep I'm with you on that. Mentioning it is a bit like Faulty Towers and the 'Siberian Hamster'/'Rat' Reminds me of a few years ago when I had a rather attractive female boss who came to visit us in our office. She was trying to plug her laptop in and I said "oh I'll do that for you". I needed to go under the desk to do it and was thinking, Whatever you do don't look up her skirt. So I bent down, grabbed the plug and said, "Jane, do you mind if I look up your skirt" The room fell silent. A half Indian/half Italian man managed to blush.

Worth every penny knowing our boys are getting a well deserved break. Lamina seems to be making the most of it.
The very lovely Mrs Godders and I have booked a one week holiday in a caravan in Weymouth for next week. I am hoping the weather holds.
