My understanding was that Tadic wanted out and we didn’t spend a lot of time trying to persuade him to stay. He probably saw the writing on the wall, another season of frustrations and fans baying for his blood (in my opinion, he has never hit the heights of his partnership with Graziano) whereas he had the chance of Champions League in an easier League ..... no brainer really
