Ian Wright names Cedric in his imaginary southern team because, as he say, he is brilliant. . Nice one, Then adds....don't know how Saints can keep him! Shut the **** up!
I used to like Wrighty but then he metamorphosed into Murphy and I don't like mindless Murphy motor mouth one bit.
A truly great footballer. I loved watching him as much as I loved watching LeTiss and Channon. He was also a kind man. My Uncle and Godfather was well known in Windsor footballing circles and was a half decent football himself who knew the Osgood family well. Peter took time out to visit him in hospital when he was terminally ill and really made his day.
What a player. I knew him quite well, having spent a lot of time with him for one year. A real character.
Liverpool are interested in signing Southampton's 24-year-old Gabon midfielder Mario Lemina. (L'Equipe - in French)
Apparently also Arsenal. As MLT tweeted: Just buy our scouts it would be cheaper. A Liverpool fan replied: We have to use our loyalty points somehow. I can't see us letting him go this soon....providing we stay up (which we will).
Par for the course. Unsettle a Saints Player before an important game, in the hope we will lose it and head downwards, potentially making it easier to secure his release.
https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018-03-02/video-on-this-day-huddersfield-southampton A nice reminder of a 5-0 victory over Huddersfield in 2010. Look at those empty seats....I think people look back at those early Leihberr days with rose-coloured glasses.
I was referring to those people who think it is better to be in the lower leagues with real crowds at lower prices. Lower prices do not necessarily fill up seats.
https://www.newsx.com/sports/intere...th-less-than-what-they-paid-for-their-players Article pointing out what we already knew....it would cost less for Liverpool to have bought us than to have bought our players piecemeal. Overlooks the fact that you can't own 2 clubs in the EPL, but mildly interesting in this eternity before the game starts.
http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/03/0...ould-target-ben-foster-if-he-suffers-relegat/ Talk of Foster being a target if WBA relegated.....and if we stay up. I think West Brom might reasonably try to keep him if they are to hope for promotion again.
