And there I was telling my son off for booking a flight to Alicante that arrives 17.20 local time, (16.20 BST) on the Saturday we’re away to Hull.
I live about 40 minutes from the airport so should be able to watch the first half, as the flight will probably be delayed.
My wife has thoughtfully booked us on a Pullman train from London to Canterbury, and back. So, excellent food and drink, and maybe wifi, although I may be ejected from the carriage for over-celebrating our win
Imagine the scene:
Good food, good wine, fine surroundings, great views, sophisticated and cultured company, and then; “****ing get iinnn!! YESSS!”
