I seriously doubt that Arsenal are paying anyone £9.3Mpa. Granted they pay more than us. Of course they do, but we could compete with a one off as Wenger likes to keep a salary structure in place. That's why Arteta had to take a hit as he was already earning more than anyone at Arsenal (£75kpw IIRC).
But if you hadn't noticed, they've kind of chnaged their financial stance in recent years. The signings of Ozil and Sanchez are obvious signs to that. Those two will be on 150k a week easy.

Both articles say £130k-£140k. Still around £100k more then our highest wage.

Even Chamberlain is on around £20k more then our top earners if you take Osvaldo and Ramirez out of it.

It's quite possible that I missed that! I suppose the new TV deal changes things too. I wonder if Morgan would attract that kind of offer from Arsenal though. A couple of teams in the North West maybe but I just can't see Arsenal offering a contract of that size to a DM. Regardless, I'd say he's odds on to be a Gooner next year.

Saints are running a Kiss the Badge competition. Perhaps the next one should be for fans to post a Cry for Schneiderlin photo. He may forgo a massive pay rise when confronted with a hundred selfies of crying fans:rolleyes:

As said by an earlier poster, this will come across as blasphemy to some, but I'm not actually going to be that fussed if he goes. Whilst his dedication (till last year) over some tricky times has been more in the LeTissier mould than the Lovren mould, I don't think he's contributing anywhere near enough.

His consistency in terms of performance hasn't been up to scratch and before our mini-reality check/slump lately and before his injury he seemed to be looking good in a team that was looking good but not able to consistently change things when the chips were down.

I remember the Villa game that required cool heads and experience when we went behind, but the passes he was making were off mark in terms of accuracy and in terms of what was appropriate for being one down to a poor side.

I think we've seen his best here and that his heads already been turned, we never thought there would be life after the Summer exodus, but with 25 million from morgan and a few quid from the others that have already been tapped up, I'd like to think we could be in a better position after he has gone.

Let the haters hate....

Some one that agrees with me about Morgan having his head turned.

I was the earlier poster. No hate from me.
