This is going to read like blasphemy to some, but I'm not sure whether I'd rather have the £25-30M or Morgan..? I suppose I'd rather keep Morgan because great players help to keep other great players at a club, and also encourage other great players to arrive.

Fair enough thought it would be higher than that, I assume Morgan is one of them, along with Jose.

Osvaldo is on £74k per week, and Gastón is on something around £50k p/w too - but obviously they're away from the club, for now.

José is one of the highest paid players at the club, or at least he was, when the deal was signed.

Rightly so - player of the season for me.

    Yep.

From League One to Premier League, earning his Portugal cap this year and captaining Saints - as well as signing a new deal when he could have gone.

Not many people rank about José in my estimation.

I do think it is more than money!! If he joins Arsenal he will undoubtedly be an even better player than he is already, as well as broadening his experiences. No hard feelings from me as I think it is important to broaden your range of work experiences whatever your profession as it makes you more attractive to future employers besides improving your own cognition!!

Not necessarily. There is a long list of footballers who have moved on to bigger clubs and not really shone. I think Morgan would be a huge success, however we can't say "undoubtedly"

Yeah, but Morgan is always saying how footballers career is short and how he wants to make the most of it, that is to play at the highest level possible. I don't think bigger wage is his highest priority.

Personally believe football is more important to Morgan than money. He joined us over premier league sides to play football, so i suspect whoever he signs for he will want to make sure he is a major part of their plans.
I think Top 4 is our biggest hope of keeping him

I hope we keep Jose until he retires. I reckon he'll make a great coach/manager one day and I hope it's for us.

Did a predictor last night and we got 4th on GD and I wasn't that biased. Hopefully that keeps Morgan!
