You've made it more difficult for yourself than it actually is TSS..:)..It's Premier League Saints' appearances only, ie 1992/93 to 2004-05 and 2012-13 to 2013-14 inclusive.

Oh..! What a twat..! OK, I'll do a complete re-adjust.

From my original list, only Matty played well over 200 games for Saints in the PL, even though his career started before it. Hey, this is a good question..!

OK, I'm going to say [this is a proper leap, here...]

Benali
Le Tiss
Dodd
Beattie
Lundekvam
Oakley

Yep, you got it, it was Franny.......Francis Benali (243)

I should ask the question... name all the post-war players who made over 200 league appearances for Saints, prior to the Premier League's formation. But I won't because I haven't the faintest idea and it's too much of a faff to work through. :)

Easy one, but not as easy as you may think.

Which Saint has had the shortest career since the PL era started, up until now..? That is who, of those who have taken part in a 1st team competitive match in all competitions, has had the shortest amount of time on the pitch [this does not include unused subs].

Well if it's less than the 19 minutes of Ali Dia's career it must be either Richard Chaplow or Steeeeeeeeeeeve De Ridder?

Nah, I'm going to give it to you because I have to get a bit of supper together and I can't be here all the time. I thought it was easy because it was so recent.

It was Andy Robinson, who subbed Jack Cork in a LC game in September last season, and played for 11 minutes. Incidentally, he's just coming back/come back from another long injury layoff. Another very good player in the Academy, who was promoted to the first team squad last season. Now back in the U21s.

OK, it was a hard one and obscure as well. :)

EDIT: Brilliant by saintlyhero. Thank goodness that question's over.

Here's one for you, 13 different foreigners have played over 100 times for Saints. Can you name them?

How specific are using making the term foreigner..? Anyone outside England..? Anyone outside the mainland, or GB & NI, or the British Isles [includes Ireland]..? Name all the countries which don't come under that designation first. I'm not racking my brains for hours on end only for you to suggest that MLT was a foreigner because he was a Channel Islander..! :)

Or there is anyone born in anyone of those places above but played for a foreign country..!?!

I'm pretty sure of

Ivan Golac
Ken Monkou
Claus Lundekvam
Marian Pahars
Morgan Schneiderlin
Jose Fonte

Then maybe these guys:

Anders Svensson
Jo Tessem
Antti Niemi
Hassan Kachloul
Egil Ostenstad

Beyond that I'm struggling. Maybe Delap and Kenna if Irishmen count?
