Don't know much about Ings but seems to be doing well this season. Hasn't he had a couple of bad injuries in the last couple of seasons?

Our captain was taken up by Saints, one David Stamp. He was a year older than me, so I was considered for the next year or so. In the book, In That Number, you can see David sitting cross legged next to Nick Holmes for a pre-season all-squads photo, after he has progressed a few seasons. Well, my parents weren't encouraging. In fact, my Dad didn't even know I played for my school football team from the 2nd year onwards, and wouldn't have been interested if I did, and Mum just used to wash my gear and gasp every season when I'd ask for another pair of football boots [what again..? You had a pair last year..!] So anything I did, I did very much off my own back, and I really wanted to do it. I was just extremely nervous of failing.
He is already good enough to be back up. Fox is only back up as he seems to help the youngsters a lot according to a few of them.
Must been around the same team as Keith Grainger.

Granger yes, but I never recall MLT. Shearer was signed on school boy terms the same day they let me go... Fools I tell you, fools! Benali and Craig Mascall were there then I recall.
