I’m sorry, but watching training within min 72hrs vs outside of 72hrs barely makes any difference in my eyes.

It’s an incredibly minor infraction.

The hysteria is way over the top. I’d barely even call it cheating personally. (Of course it is because they added the rule). But compared to what goes on every weekend in football, it’s a ridiculously small offence.

Tonda is a class manager
Except watching it more than 72hrs before isn't a crime. Closer than 72 hrs is

Tonda.

Apparently he has been spotted on the rest of the Not606 Championship club threads for the past few hours.

Hearing he will have lots of time on his hands to do a great job at analysing the games next season.

it’s genuinely astonishing and the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read.

we cheated, but gained no advantage.
Then we OWNED UP to the cheating, for no reason.

you have to laugh at just how stupid that is.
Who would have thought employing a ****ing vacuum cleaner salesman would have ended with this?

Literally admitting it to the most litigious **** chairman in the football league.

Crap spy
Crap legal team
Crap CEO.

Is there a single appointment SR have got right?

Cheers. Assumed that was the case.
Obviously from here it’s a long day out so loads will be on train and/or staying over.
Bloody ridiculous they still keep saying kick off time might change (I know that pales into insignificance for you, but if it changes thousands will have spent £100+ on trains that might either get there too late or leave before the end)
Even so I imagine loads of your fans will be out of pocket on pre bought train tickets.
As usual it’s fans that get the ****ty end of the stick.

Nah think it's much worse for you lot if it gets moved, that would be a disgrace.

Yeah some will be out of pocket on travel I'm sure, guessing that's why the club/league stressed that point last week.

Did I read that the second charge was notified to us on Sunday? I.e we have one day to prepare for a hearing. That is not really due process although the EFL obviously do what they want. I can see that adding to the removal of the deduction. But not sure it amounts to the 14 day issue we might complain about on the original charge.

I joked with @Libby earlier last week that maybe all of the dirty laundry needed to be aired out to help "reset" modern football and the EFL. I didn't think it would actually come to this point, mind...

tbh as bad as our crime is, and it looks worse the more that comes out, we absolutely have a case.

the way this has been handled is beyond appalling. EFL is as incompetent as saints.

Given the timeframes aren't we just compounding our poor conduct? The full period would have got us into the final defacto. complaining about that is just more gamesmanship.
"We didnt get 14 days to prepare our case for why there wasn't one person in our club aware that spying was cheating even though we run a championship football club and everyone knows that spying is cheating."
Its not the preparation of the case that's the issue, its not even the punishment that's the issue, its the consequences of the punishment that the club is concerned about.
