Mate, we beat them because we were better than them. Only marginally better, but we beat them on the pitch, where it matters. Having spied on Ipswich and Oxford we failed to beat them, so spying obviously doesn’t ****ing work. Which makes you wonder why we bothered, but ffs no way do Middlesborough deserve to be anywhere near Wembley
Yes, I know that, you know that; any sensible person knows that. But, we're talking about laws and regulations here. Not just subjective opinions.

Why is it? I know we are supposed to dislike them at the moment, but they've been cheated. Why should they suffer because of our cheating?

Mainly because the EFL sanctioned the two semi finals to go ahead, when they could have postponed them. I'm not talking about it from a morale standpoint, more so a legal one. Regardless of how it looks, and how we all feel, the club isn't going to just accept the first decision.

Although I agree with your sentiment, I actually think the tie should have been over in the first 45 minutes of game 1. The fact that they couldn’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo lost them the tie.

Assuming the appeal fails the club have got a serious problem on their hands. How many fans are going to want to shell out £500+ on a ST for next season? Not many I would think. The feeling of anger and betrayal will not go away in a few weeks. And if they don't lower prices significantly for renewals that anger will just grow. I won't be renewing if the prices aren't slashed. I might not anyway.

I'm surprised more people aren't picking up on Phil Parsons admitting what happened to Steve Gibson and saying we'll pay the fine. I completely understand why Gibson was so pissed off now.
100% and doing it in front of EFL representatives.

Reckon that arrogance has played a big part.

Yep. Complete arrogance from Parsons.

His face always annoys me too. Reminds me of Ian Hisplop, and he has a face you wouldn’t tire from punching either.

Yeah this is probably what Simon Jordan was alluding to in his interview that Gibson was more pissed off at our response to the cheating than the cheating itself

I agree there is no way I am considering spending out the £700 on a ST next year the way I feel atm.

it’s genuinely astonishing and the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read.

we cheated, but gained no advantage.
Then we OWNED UP to the cheating, for no reason.

you have to laugh at just how stupid that is.

Yeah they’ll want part of promotion bonuses and maybe a % of wage hikes paid for being robbed of the chance to get promoted through no fault of their own.
You can't totally rule these things out but lots of teams have been deducted points and missed promotion or been relegated over the years and I don't think anything like that has ever happened with any of them.
