Assuming the appeal fails the club have got a serious problem on their hands. How many fans are going to want to shell out £500+ on a ST for next season? Not many I would think. The feeling of anger and betrayal will not go away in a few weeks. And if they don't lower prices significantly for renewals that anger will just grow. I won't be renewing if the prices aren't slashed. I might not anyway.
Genuine question
How many of your fans will have booked hotels etc. or will most have gone there and back in a day?
We’re further so I booked a hotel ages ago (with free cancellation) and trains as our play off finished (actually a minute or so before!)
Surely your club need to be thinking how to somehow reimburse fans for the wasted money? (assuming the appellant successful of course)

I really wish we wouldn't appeal this now. We are confirmed cheats in the eyes of the entire world. If we do succeed in this appeal, the entire world will be wanting us to lose and if we win we will be reviled everywhere. There's nothing to be proud of in getting promoted like this. ****ing apologise, admit you ****ed up and go on holiday. This is hideous.

You can't totally rule these things out but lots of teams have been deducted points and missed promotion or been relegated over the years and I don't think anything like that has ever happened with any of them.
Yeah it won't happen. Lots will be on the phone to agents planning to force their way out though.

Located where we are the vast majority won't bother staying up. London only just over an hour on the train.

Well done, SFC. I’ve loved you since 1958. Watched you **** times, and really **** times. Seen you rise to an FA Cup win and “3 wins from the double”; winning a meaningless trophy but giving us joy; unluckily losing an EFL Cup Final; winning a play-off and being utter crap in th PL. And through it all I was proud to be a Saint. We stood for something. The Saints Fiundation, the anti-racist stance. We were decent. In League One I could sit in a pub in Hartlepool and chat with genuine fans and what we had in common was that our clubs weren’t sullied by allegations of ****e.

One of my proudest moments was provided by Sadio Mane. Sadio had skinned a defender who was booked. A few minutes later Sadio embarrassed him again and the guy hacked him down. He was spared a red card by Sadio jumping to his feet and taking a quick free kick. A pundit that night said Sadio should have rolled around while his team-mates should have surrounded the ref to get the guy sent off. But that was not our way.

This has destroyed my image of my club and I’m ****ing angry. My rage is doubled by the fact that instead of celebrating that one of our players has been called by up by Scotland we’re discussing this ****. Ross, you deserve better

That’s a first.

Seriously think they will try for an injunction, if that fails they will sue the EFL.

Could be the end of the football league as we know it.

That make us more popular with the rest of the teams in the league <yikes>

tbh as bad as our crime is, and it looks worse the more that comes out, we absolutely have a case.

the way this has been handled is beyond appalling. EFL is as incompetent as saints.

Cheers. Assumed that was the case.
Obviously from here it’s a long day out so loads will be on train and/or staying over.
Bloody ridiculous they still keep saying kick off time might change (I know that pales into insignificance for you, but if it changes thousands will have spent £100+ on trains that might either get there too late or leave before the end)
Even so I imagine loads of your fans will be out of pocket on pre bought train tickets.
As usual it’s fans that get the ****ty end of the stick.
