A season out on loan could be very good for Small, but would need to be to the right team and he'd need to not see it as a backwards step and to crack down and try and learn and develop. He's not ready to be a PL squad player yet, maybe as third choice LB but not as our only backup LB. Hopefully he has come to realise this too as we've heard before that he is very...confident in his own ability. Would require the loan (presumably) for a fullback to be able to play both sides and would also leave us with just 3 full backs until Tino is back, so far from ideal, (especially given Perraud has been out injured too) but not sure we would want to have to bring in two fullbacks still either.

Bycroft; Payne, Tizzard, Lancashire, Lawrence, Vokins, Doyle, Morgan, Edwards, Ferry, Pearce.
Subs: Hall (g/k), Pambou, Carson, Otseh-Taiwo, Bellis.

A strong, attacking lineup from Dave Horseman.

With these players being loaned out, once again the B Team is being short changed and will probably struggle to get organised early doors?
