You have brilliant timing - officially confirmed just as you posted! Does sound like zero away tickets though - it's going to be 30k of our premium and ST holders. https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/ne...m-test-event-matches-and-opening-game-update/
Gotta get it ready for when a REAL SPORT comes in the Autumn when the NFL return to London and make their Tottenham debut (a year late)
The biggest favour I can do you is explaining why the NFL is the greatest sporting competition of all time.
You sir are a 1000% completely incorrect.......dreadful spectacle......over 4 hours to play 90 mins or whatever it is?
Save your breath. The fact that, despite Hollywood glorifying it endlessly in order to push its influence globally, only one country plays it, is evidence enough for me to believe that it is a ****e, over-hyped game.
Most games are around 3 hours, some less, some more depending on injuries and such. Also, as a spectacle is one thing you definitely can't criticise the NFL for. Check out one of the games at Wembley and you'll see what I mean
Got talked into watching the super bowl once (7 non fans there were) ...all fell asleep never watched such a poor spectacle.....never again will I waste a minute watching that again.
Tbf, it's much better if: 1) you understand the rules (and I'm going to assume you didn't) 2) when you're actually there at the game. Wembley for example is pretty much a three hour party with a carnival atmosphere, it's amazing. Though sometimes you get less exciting games, this year's super bowl wasn't exciting but it was interesting (though if you didn't understand the rules or appreciate defensive battles I can see how you might not be totally enamered by it). The does affect the atmosphere at games of course, but when you have thrilling games like last season's chargers game, the lions-falcons game a few years ago, the jags-bills game, etc... It's spectacular
Your correct I don’t understand the ins and outs .....nor do I with rugby but can watch that....sorry PL you will never win me over on this one.
TBF (sometimes I hate being so fair ) it is fortunate that we don't all like the same thing....there are audiences for most things.
Not sure what this has to do with the thread, but my thoughts on the Superbowl is that this years event was the worst on record. Mind you being a Miami Dolphins fan I am biased, but following them at the moment is not unlike following the Saints!
Should have watched today's match if you don't think football's a real sport. Great effort all round and another great showing by the academy lads. (and now its on topic )
https://southamptonfc.com/news/2019...dhi-jaidi-southampton-wolves-premier-league-2 Lot riding on tonight's match v Wolves U23. Could decide who gets automatic promotion out of PL2. Getting relegated last season was pretty unacceptable for an Academy of our pretensions. COYR
