He made some good runs, beyond the defence, as he did for his goals, a tactic I think will work tomorrow against Arsenal and why I want Obafemi and Redmond up front. Sims, also, could have been yellow carded for three challenges in the second half, IMO. Not sure that the ref showed him one card, but he needs to refrain from taken players out with mistimed tackles.
https://southamptonfc.com/news/2019-02-23/u18-report-southampton-arsenal-u18pl U18's lost 1 - 3 to Arsenal. Some newish names and an unamed trialist involved,
Red card for Huddersfield. Tommy Smith. Newcastle win then. Not looking so rosy today after a couple of good results last night. Che Adams bags another to rub salt in the wound... what could have been?
Big change in this match since I started watching 10 minutes ago...2 Reading goals means they now lead, the second goal was a shot from the edge of the box that went through Fraser's legs.
The big positive tonight is that the future of our RB position looks very promising as Kayne Ramsay was very good despite giving away the pen for their first goal.
Beat Brighton 3 - 1 Ferry, Norton and Hansen https://www.premierleague.com/match/39654/u18-premier-league/2018-19/brighton-v-southampton https://southamptonfc.com/news/2019-03-02/u18-report-brighton-southampton-u18pl
I thought it might be this season, but can’t be long before Ferry is part of the first team set-up...great talent
