It’s very encouraging, not least because the U23’s now know that there is a pathway to the first team which hasn’t really been there since Poch’s day. I know Puel brought a few players like Stephens and Sims through but Ralph has really bought into the whole process in a big way. That gives the Academy boys a huge incentive, which is reflected in the results they have been getting this season.https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/17509117.southampton-manager-ralph-hasenhuttl-on-the-under-23s/
An encouraging article about Ralph H talking about his future plans for the Academy. I like the idea of a futureAlso praises Jaidi and talks about how well the Academy U23s are doing in both the league (2nd) and in 2 cups.
4 goals from our academy. good showing. For whatever reason we have a lot of Irish in our youth atm including Obafemi. We may end up with a few Irish fans if they all start performing. You must log in or register to see media
Probably not important to many people but it's nice to see Radhi doing well, the number of African managers is appalling.

Already is a small band of us who travel over semi regularly good goals to be fair. It's our strongest bunch of kids we've brought together in a long time! Some have stepped up to the u21 now despite being eligible. One of which is an ex student of mine troy parrott who must have been with saints for a short while as I seen a photo of him a few years ago celebrating a cup win in a saints shirt. At the airport enroute to Gibraltar to watch the current uninspiring crop. Maybe some of these young saints kick on and give us some hope for the future!4 goals from our academy. good showing.
