P.s. still don't think it will happen.

Tend to agree Fran; think we will balk at paying 25M and himself will not want to join a team that is at risk of relegation. Best fit would seem to be a loan deal to the end of the season. He gets his first team football, assuming our enlightened manager actually selects him, and gets a chance at the England squad for the Summer.

And we, hopefully, stay up and look at options for next season, which might include a permanent transfer.

Ok here's my thoughts on us signing Theo. Yes £20M-£30M is expensive, but what is the cost of being relegated? What I saw of the Forest game was, yes he did look out of sorts, but he still looked classy, in what he did create. I believe Walcott would be a great signing for us, and a breath of fresh air in the squad. He's only 28, and a current England international.

Totally agree.

Almost certainly won't happen though, sadly.

Micky Gray on talkSports mid morning show said that he felt Theo was too good to drop as low as us but should go to Liverpool or Spurs and not slump it with us or Wetspam.
The discussion was had that he actually hadn't played consistently or well for the best part of four years but still too good for us
LOL

I thought they’d renamed that station Talksh1t

On the way home tonight and caught an interview on the car radio with Wenger discussing Sanchez and he said there had been no enquiries for him (from City or anyone else for that matter) and then went to say that it had been markedly quiet this transfer window with enquiries into Arsenal.

Message to Les; if you lost Wenger's number suggest you open Google Maps on you mobile and type in 'Emirates Stadium London'. Go fill your car up, checking first to make sure you fill with the correct fuel and effing well drive there and sort it out.

Theo is obviously talented....it could be that he needs a change at this time in his career. He could be better than he is. There has been a cloud over him for some time that he is moving on and under appreciated. Could be good for him to start again in a club where the fans will have some affection for him and give him a small bit of leeway.

P.s. still don't think it will happen.

But will the team play to his strengths any more than they play to Gabbi's? I think he is too expensive if £30m as he is too injury prone?

The content of the article just says it's down to the player. Everton offer a bit more money while we have a better location. Don't know how much of that is based on fact or conjecture.

No Ozil, no Giroud, Sanchez only on the bench. Still no Theo starting. Even behind Iwobi, who - aside from being rubbish - is meant to be on the naughty step at the moment.

Can't say that I buy the line that Wenger won't let Theo go, if Sanchez goes.
