Hope so SP. I as much as anyone want him to be a success , Lambo and Pelle were prolific for their previous clubs tho. In Carrillo defence, he hasn't played as much but it' still a big gamble by Saints.

We signed Lambert from Bristol Rovers. Pelle came from the Dutch league. Not exactly Champions League standard. Carillo's style will IMO, suit the PL and the way we play.

Redandwhite , Last chance saloon is a gamble in my book.
I wish Carrillo all the luck as with all our signings, but this forum wasn't convinced on him until desperation set in. So we spend 20 mil ish and pray.

Our Black box as been squiffy for a while.
 
Does anyone have any actual knowledge on this guys ability or is it just the sheep syndrome doing the rounds? I certainly don't study the French or Argentinian leagues in detail.

They didn't rate him before this, either. Went and checked some of their forums...they think that he's pretty much useless with the ball at his feet, though a good header.
 
It doesn't sound great but was lemina hailed as a star by juve fans? I am clutching at straws here.
