When you didn't think this thread could become more legendary we now read the glorious resignation of St Godders.

What the.... I imagine Godders will be just as harshly punished as anyone else who had just said that? Not appropriate at all. Whilst some could potentially be 14 year olds and doing as you said, to say that in front of potentially others who are of a similar age and not involved is frankly unfair.

Also, may I just add...
Godders... you make little digs and jibes (usually stereotypical - as once again shown in your most recent comment) at younger members of the forum, but when they do so to you, saying you are old, and like an amusing old granny, you respond with this?
I think it shows that A) You can't take a joke and B) You seem to have issues with younger people.
If you are going to play to the "Mrs Godders and I" and go on that tangent and play to the stereotype, don't get insulted when others join in.
If you can't hack it, don't dish it out in the first place.

I wish I knew what was going on. I browse this site every few hours for some nuggets of Saints news or opinions of forthcoming matches etc and all I seem to get now is people slagging each other off. Bizarre.

Since he made a sweeping generalisation which I found offensive. Prior to that I've found myself agreeing and disagreeing with him.
What he said is unfair and uncalled for.
It's become a trend over the last few months. He's been saying progressively more stupid things (Buttner would be a bad signing because he has tattoos, nicknames like "Steve" and "Corky" are stupid, despite calling himself Godders and using the name Guly) which has made people realise he's not a "wise old man" but instead.. well, judge for yourself.
