Think this is about as likely as banega signing for us. I dont think were ready for their like yet, give it a year

Based on what? It's far more likely as Roma are virtually driving him up to Southampton.....Valencia never actively wanted rid of Banega (or he'd likely be here too).

All the same crap said over and over and over again with a few words added.

From an Italian source and seems plausible that he'd want to join an established European club who are playing European football the season before World Cup.

I hope I'm wrong but can't see it coming off now

That's just wait and see last I heard Spurs hadn't even bid.

Gianluca Di Marzio: Osvaldo, there's still ok to Southampton: the latest - http://www.gianlucadimarzio.com/cal...-ce-ancora-lok-al-southampton-le-ultimissime/

TRANSLATION

The offers are not lacking, Pablo Daniel Osvaldo reflects. The Giallorossi striker, convened by Rudi Garcia for the friendly match against Ternana scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, has not yet said yes to the offer of Southampton. The English club is willing to put on the plate about 3 million euro bonus included, but also the Wolfsburg and Tottenham does not give up. But it is possible that, at the end of the market, there arise new solutions such as that of Inter, a hypothesis that would be appreciated. Here, then, why Osvaldo takes time.

If Inter go for him then it's probably game over. He'd jump at a move to Milan.

Isn't the inter bid a loan with a view to a permanent if they qualify for the cl, not sure roma would be keen on that

I read somewhere that Roma weren't keen on selling to Inter as Inter are/were going to wait until the end of the window to get Osvaldo at a cut down price. I guess that could change though...

A lot of Brinksmanship and I'm pleased Cortese is looking to push Osvaldo's hand whilst we sit in the strong position of being the only club with an accepted bid.
The longer Osvaldo stalls the longer it tests Romas resolve. Would they accept a loan move from Inter just to get him gone or just keep him which looks a little awkward with the various stories we've heard.
