Just another thought If/When Ashley recovers and he feels down again if he needs someone to talk to who he is never going to meet so can say anything that he feels I will try and help all he has to do is ask on the Bristol City board I am/was a professional in that field, before becoming disabled, plus have suffered from depression myself so if he needs to talk I can and will be there.

Woke up to this terrible news. Chico is a voice of reason on these boards and, given his history, this is all the more credit to him. I wish him and his family and friends all the best for a full recovery. It is a difficult time and words cannot help much but my prayers are with you. As siad elsewhere, if there is anything practical that can be done, you onlyneed to ask.

The human brain can be as brutal as it is wonderful. A terribly sad story but hopefully your man will pull through and with help be able to manage events in the future. I hope things turn out ok fellas.

Best wishes for a full recovery Chico.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and your friends, good luck for the tough months ahead for all of you, we're thinking of you.

Depression sucks. I hope he pulls through ok, and with the support of his friends and family realises life is worth living despite the ****e it throws at you sometimes.

Pull through Chico, the whole board has moved for you. Wishing the family all the best in this terrible time of need.

Hope you pull through Ash and get the help to cope with all that life throws at you, i've known 3 people attempt suicide and 2 of them succeeded my sister-in-law and a mate and the sense of 'what could we had done to stop them' is a question that will remain unanswered for ever more.
My mate who survived attempted it again before he came to his senses(Whatever that is) and now lives a contented life even though work is hard to come by.
Best wishes
Ringo
