Atm, Michut is not strong enough for the rough and tumble of the English game. He undoubtedly has ability and will, as he grows and gets stronger become quite a player.
He can have another start at Shrewsbury, giving a rest to our 1st team league players.

Yeah, I saw that roker report done an article on him today but I couldn't be arsed to click the link and read it. Played well at Wigan, not so good at Blackpool but the lad is 19yrs old, he's not going to be knocking out 9/10 performances every week in a new country while he is still settling.
Its not long ago that Ba and Neil were being written off after playing as a 2 , cant remember the game, but its now the turn of another exciting prospect who will prove them just as wrong, and when all are up and running together in the team we will have some engineroom, mark my words.

What does my head in about articles like that is that they are far to quick to label playes as fantastic or ****e. In truth, we probably won't see the best of Ba, Michut and Jewi until next season after they have had a pre season to bed in. We just need to enjoy their good games and support them through their tough spells.

I thought Jewi could have come on last few minutes yesterday tbh., Clarke apart, a few were struggling to keep going.

Blatantly stolen from Grumpy ( who is clearly a very clever bloke). To explain FFP a bit more

FFP wages to turnover . It will be phased in - 90% in 23/24. 80% in 24/25, and finally to 70% in 25/26.

the percentage also includes transfer income and spend. So essentially (income+fees received)/(wages+fees paid)*100 must be less than 70 by 25/26.

Bored at work, so been on Companies House to see what our turnover and profit / loss has been.

2017 TO £121 million P/L -£10 million
2018 TO £63 million P/L -£26 million
2019 TO £58 million P/L -£11 million
2020 TO £29 million P/L -£2.6 million
2021 TO £10.7 million P/L -£11.7 million

So totals for the last 5 years

Turnover £281.7 Million
Loss £61 Million.

That's some scary figures and ones that highlight trying to be sustainable and that we have to trust the 'model'

Unfortunately mate, a percentage of our fan base want everything now and refuse to see the bigger picture.

Take Michut, he's had absolute dogs abuse across social media and message boards, because shock, horror he had a bad game yesterday.

Ignore the fact hes 19, had injuries, was his second game in 4 days, but I've seen an awful lot saying how ****e he is, will never make it here.

Some of our fans just don't have the patience for what's needed. I learnt my lesson the hard way with my criticism of Baath and Clarke when they joined this time last year and have admitted I was completely wrong

Here and everywhere there are people who go and watch football and appear to know nothing about it. As if they've never played a minute of it.

They never seem happy.

He'll only pick the rhythm of the league up by playing in it though, and that's what we're doing with players.

Neill, Clarke, Stewart, Embo, many others have all improved hugely during their time here, so let's hope Mitchu is another .

What a difference to years of old stagers picking up whatever they could get here!

That's the best I've heard from him.
Almost entirely free of jargon. Interesting to see him mention what many here have said regarding obvious improvements needed on what he called the business side of things.

Well done. Keep it up!!
Still came out with “We’ve got a first class, progressing to world class structure behind the scenes”

His comments about Simms where interesting, ties in with what Mowbray said as well.

I really believe these younger lads can see the benefit of what is happening here
What was said mate? I’ve been busy today, haven’t had a chance to listen.
