Tbh I think those reactions from other clubs are fair enough. And especially from clubs who’ve had their fair share of foreign nut cases get involved. It is a very unique takeover.

As with anything - actions are louder than words. And if he runs us professionally and we see proper improvement these opinions will dwindle.

@Evil Jimmy Krankie can have a sit down now
Yes. Yes I can.
I’m off to work in a couple of hours so can’t celebrate with a [HASHTAG]#cans[/HASHTAG] but that’ll change once I get home.
I don’t normally like tagging people on here but as an exile any news of our club is always welcome. So I’d just like to place on record my thanks to @Smug in Boots @Prehab26 @Magnus and @Wheatsheaf for keeping us all informed and for having the strength of character to post what they knew to be true in the face of a lot of adversity and negativity. All of you are assured of a warm welcome if you ever hit the shores of Western Australia.
Onwards, upwards and KTF.
Just a quick edit. I forgot @Hawyatt Earp.

I see it more as jealousy but, looking through red and white biased eyes, I would wouldn't I?, they may have a point but we've had English owners, an American owner, Irish owners, all of various wealth, and none have been particularly successful. It's a throw of the dice well worth taking imo.

Think i'll have a JD nightcap. I can't wait for this lot to start putting their plans into action, hopefully rids us of the horrific short term-ism that has blighted us for the best part of a decade. Building blocks from solid foundations!

A quick look around the fan forums, media, etc, in France is interesting.

They obviously have a lot of time for Louis-Dreyfus and the Marseille supporters seem disappointed he's 'chosen' us above them ...

... which is nice.

That’s great to hear mate.
Thanks for continuing to share the information you were receiving as and when you could.
Particularly in light of all the crap you got over the road.
Hope you and the likes of Prehab, Magnus, Whestsheaf and the other lads all enjoy tonight, your Christmas and the future which looks very bright.
Impeccable timing.
Merry Christmas and here’s to a much brighter New Year.

There were no other bids mate.

With the legal fees, due diligence, etc you're looking at close on a million before you can even bid.

There's no way Storey has that kind of money to throw around.

He was just a striking horse put up by Donald or his sidekick to raise the stakes.

Btw, will remember l owe you a beer when we get back

From what I've seen this morning he's in total control of affairs at Sunderland ...

... Donald & Methven, as I said ages ago, will be watching from afar.

Merry Christmas mate, I've replied a few times now and over the moon your views, posts and blind belief have been vindicated.

My lad can't sleep tonight because of Santa but also because the 'dream' is one step closer. You, Prehab and Magnus kept the dream alive with your posts.

Get in. He's 10, I'm nigh on 40 and not sure who is more excited and for what reason.

Awesome.

We deserve this because it's as a direct result of our passion for the club. If we weren't as well supported then there's no chance we'd be getting an owner of anything like this calibre.

The fans have made this happen.
This, good post marra
