Most nurses have grasp of the workings of an ICU in case there is a need for their.
I work in the Vascular department at a major trauma centre and the nurses in that department were called on earlier in the year.

No they don't, it takes 6 month's of working with other nurses on the unit to get trained properly. The nurses who work in hospital, the vast majority don't have a clue about ITU

Yeah they are on the phones....

<laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

****ing hell, so they don't have a ****ing clue what's happening on the wards and don't make out they do as they don't.
Porters don't even go onto Covid wards and wait outside while you get the patients for them. ****ing phone receptionists claiming it's all bullshit need a ****ing slap.
It pisses me off when I see nurses who work on clean wards claiming how hard it is working during this pandemic, a phone receptionist claiming it's not all that bad is ****ing ridiculous

I give up and block you.

Give up what? Explain to me how you know most nurses have an understanding of it? I work on an acute medical ward and it's been right in the thick of everything this year. The amount of nurses on that ward that could go into ITU and look after patients safely is zero.
We can be used as runners, basically going to get and mixing IV drugs, we could check patients vital signs but no way could we be left to look after someone. We haven't a clue about even half the machines they use in there

I’m really keen to find out where this “today is D-day” rumour has come from. I can’t find anything on it anywhere on the internet.

There’s either something in it that I can’t find, or this chap has made it up and Nixon is pretending he’s heard it as well.

Update From my colleague who is friend of SD: ‘The takeover is still with the EFL and no further hitches expected. There was a delay as JS was due to increase his stake from 20-40% changed his mind and now wants to retain the 20% he had before. Therefore those involved have to work out the details of the final 20% etc. SD will retain a significant shareholding but Kyril will be the majority shareholder.’

that completely ties in with what Nixon reported yesterday albeit with typos.

would leave the shareholding as;

KLD - 60%
JS - 20%
Donald - 14/15%
Methven - 5/6%

which id be very pleased with
