In your words ‘it’s complete bullshit’. Give your head a wobble and stop being so insensitive when people are relaying their experiences and how they’ve lost people as a result of it.
Fair enough. See my other post

My wife and brother work in hospitals so I'm aware of the situation
I think it's fair to say that a telephomist and a hospital cook may not have the perfect understanding of the situation.

Sorry, what do your wife and brother do at the hospital? which wards do they work in?

Serious question as i'm fairly certain a paedeatric nurse will not have the same understaning of the severity as an emergency or ICU nurse

Most nurses have grasp of the workings of an ICU in case there is a need for their.
I work in the Vascular department at a major trauma centre and the nurses in that department were called on earlier in the year.

Wonder where this rumour has come from? Anywhere know? The chap asking the question must have heard it to ask it

Even the eye infirmary nurses were called up in phases last time around.
