I just hope for SD’s sake and sanity that when all this is over and he eventually has no stake in the club, he will realise that there is a massive disparity between owning a football club and running one. And with that in mind he should also realise that he should never ever even think about doing it again.

I agree with that but I don't think he had any intention to run us, it was a one year flip to make some cash. He didn't have the funds to be able to keep the whole club going when that failed and no fans this season was probably the last nail in the coffin for him. I'm still convinced he's out the picture due to the appointments of Speakman and Johnson as the kind of plans they were laying out requires funds that I think are beyond Don's means, as well as a level of long term planning that has been noticable by it's absence the last few years.

Not gonna allow myself to get too excited this time about potential info, learnt that lesson with Gus being a supposed done deal (had me skin ready to pull back n all sorts). Gonna wait for announcements n that. While Donald is still at the forefront wouldn't trust him as far as I throw him.

If the fpp loan needs repaying I can see why Donald is happy to dilute his shares now. If he has 15% he has to fork up 15% of the loan. If he drops to 5% now he could get more money for his shares and only have to come up with a third of what he would have had to.
Given its been suggested he’s only keeping shares until promotion before a final pay day he might as well drop down more now.

I haven't done the maths but I'd be shocked if Donald isn't having to re-pay 70% of the loan considering that's how much of Madrox he currently owns?
