Given Sartori's and Louis-Dreyfus' links to Monaco and Marseille, why don't we get some of their under 21's in, in January to bolster the squad.

Or if we go closer to home, Johnson and Speakman will know Bristol City's and Birmingham's under 21's inside out.

We've also got a new head of recruitment to come in too, haven't we? We'll have options. And given our spending power on those under 21's wages verses other teams in our league, we should be in a better position than most in January.
I’d be amazed if we get any favours from either of the French clubs

How on earth do we realistically get around the salary cap and no fees in January? We’ve got an ageing, slow, overly-paid and inflated squad who we won’t be able to ship out and then relying on loans as incomings.

I honestly think were not far from writing this seasok off, its been an absolute disaster so far. I cant see this group of players putting runs together. Sloppy at the back, bad goalkeepers, zero creativity in central midfield and a non-scoring strikeforce.

Johnson will have done a miracle if he gets this lot up this season i think.

Under 21's don't count toward the salary cap so my guess would be we'd be looking at that age group. Can't see us have many if any takers for players we don't want so not sure what else we'd be able to do.

Somebody has had a couple of blue WKD and is feeling brave tonight
You have though. Seen a lot of you on here and remenber you posting stuff on rtg which was just a regurgitation of what the itk's of the day were posting. I dont need to be brave on a message board, there are people in here who know who i am, but i do get a bit pissed off with people stringing sunderland fans along with itk ****e. A will sign off from this board though. Was only on it as i was taken in with what was posted about a takeover but now the true takeover is coming to fruition and the scumbags donald and methven are still there added to people bigging up the appointment of johnson, this board for me is as big a waste of space as some of the other ****e posted on rtg.

Quite a lot you couldnt say thinking back like. Like this super takeover you kept mentioning that aint so super.

Question for you.

Why would young Dreyfuss follow SAFC official Instagram account, and 'like' the announcements of Johnson and Speakman unless he had some vested interest in the club?

Another thing, what the **** is 'ain't'? Are you american?

I did but couldn't say.

Part of the bigger picture.

Crap today. Not his style or players.

I am in.
You could see what he wanted in the first 15 minutes but when taylor picks the team and all he does is add mcgeady in it was realistic what was going to happen. He’s post match interview was far important to me and a breath of fresh air compared to parky and even ross.

agreed, but losing O'nien & Gooch put us on the back foot to start with, maybe Taylor didn't have the balls to make too many changes, I'm sure LJ will when he has a good look at our squad.

It was so typical of our club that after all the anticipation of the game after it became clear we are being took over by a wealthy group, we have a DOF and Manager and we are playing ....at home...to the bottom of the league side who have't won a game in ages. How to p iss on your chips eh?? never mind, I am still confident we will get this right and the club now looks to have a strategy and plan going forward which is a good basis to start from.
