I can't recall seeing an interview like that from a manager, especially not for us.

He saw the issues and talked honestly about what he needed to address. Movement in the box to work on and power and pace in the transfer market.

Beats the we were unlucky to get nothing from that cause we had more possession but ignore the fact we did **** all in the final 3rs where it counts.

Good first impression.

Two things I picked up and was going to ask, first one has been answered before he was looking at going to Luton. The other did he talk in that like he is keeping Taylor as his assistant? Said something along the lines of having a chat with him about what he expects from his assistant, keeping players motivated and fired up.
I've read it was Derby he was potentially going to and had researched their players. As for Taylor, yeah I heard that and looks like he must be staying which answers my question last night about who was going to be his coaching staff as his old team are still in charge at Bristol City.

It’s been suggested their current first team coach will be coming in as his assistant.

Yeah, I was hoping he was going to get a new coaching team in. Get rid if the negative vibes from Parkys time.

Luton someone else mentioned but Derby sounds plausible too as they are looking at the minute.

Jamie McAllister was one of his assistant head coaches at Bristol C and left in the summer after he did. So he may well join.

Johnson seems a really smart operator and I wouldn’t be surprised if his reference to Andy Taylor was actually a subtle reminder he didn’t even have his team with him.

Definatley more to come on the coaching side. He cant just rock up on his own, keep em peeeeeled

Yes he won the league
Apologies I've had a brain fart. I was meant to be referring to them winning the prem not getting them to the prem. My mistake. People were going on about how good he was and what a great job he'd done that year and it being down to him that Leicester won the league the following year, rather than what Ranieri did. But they were close to relegation the season before apart from a great run in the last 7-10 games. It was a great escape, no doubt, but they'd been in trouble for the rest of it. I'm not sure he did that great a job. I stand by earlier comment though, he is a dick.
