Johnson should print a few pages off from here and force the c*nts to read it.
They are so lucky there are no fans allowed in the ground at the moment. I am a fan and will always be but I expect something in return. Its called effort and commitment but not the " I couldnt give a flying one" attitude.

You know what fair play to him. I think thats a cracking interview after the match.

Yeah, enjoyed watching that and spoke well. He identified after 1 game that there is little movement in the box and that needs to be addressed. We put some great crosses in today only for Graham and Grigg to be conspicous by their absence, possibly not wanting to get hurt or ruffle their hair in the case of grease top Danny.

He did and hopefully he addresses the pace and power issues. We are so slow and weak its laughable.

However, we have know this for years and we addressed this in the summer with bringing in Graham and O'Brien and and getting rid of Watmore.

I hope the new recruitment people are up to the job.

I must have missed them.

We are a mess.

The players are a disgrace...best paid players in the division with training facilities second to none and we have the fattest, unfittest, uncommitted cnuts in the division.

We need sorting out from top to bottom sadly I dont think Johnson has the abilities to do that given he has a worse win ratio than the fella we have just sacked.
<laugh>

We'd struggle to sell anyone as there's little or no money at this level and none are good enough for the level above. This is where the bold decisions lie, pay them up to get them out and crack on or keep them and not be able to advance.
That’s what I thought you meant. I don t know what the contract lengths are for them but a lot of them need to be shipped out. It would be a very bold move to do it. There are too many of this team that are not good enough even for this league and will not see us promoted.
I know some managers can improve certain players but he would need to be Merlin the Magician to get a tune out of a lot of them.

That's the sensible approach. We should be able to secure promotion from League 1,there's not much opposition. If we spend 4-5 years in the Championship, then I won't be complaining, as long as I can see progress Year on Year.

We're effectively building a new business here, and successful businesses take time to build.

I agree mind.

This Wigan team is hardly professional standard to be honest and our players don't look as fit or quick enough.

Lots of work to do for the new manager. I can see already that 2 or 3 of these will be out in Jan or paid off. They won't fit with Johnson. Too slow, too many touches.

Hopefully more than 2 or 3 ! They're all garbage!!

We signed graham after the salary cap came in didn’t we? Ripping up his contract in jan should free up space for a far better replacement

I read an article the other day. Danny Graham has cost us 7.5m in both his transfers to us from the first time we signed him till now.
Thats transfer fee/wages. We just love spunking money dont we.

I can't recall seeing an interview like that from a manager, especially not for us.

He saw the issues and talked honestly about what he needed to address. Movement in the box to work on and power and pace in the transfer market.

Beats the we were unlucky to get nothing from that cause we had more possession but ignore the fact we did **** all in the final 3rs where it counts.

Good first impression.

Two things I picked up and was going to ask, first one has been answered before he was looking at going to Luton. The other did he talk in that like he is keeping Taylor as his assistant? Said something along the lines of having a chat with him about what he expects from his assistant, keeping players motivated and fired up.

Keep noticing in the interviews - "the ownership group" is used when previously you would have heard owner/ Ellis /Stuart.

Rodwell was name checked - so are we assuming that he is still going to be here once the dust settles as it would seem strange for him to be interviewing the head coach.

LJ also said he had done his due dilligence on the owners - so he must know what the ownership of the club must look like in the coming weeks. As no one in the right mind would take a job where the owner was actively trying to sell the business and the chances are the new owners would want their own man in situ.

Wonder if the LJ was always going to be the target but word had got out he another gig lined up and the process was speed up this week before all t's and i's of new ownership structure were crossed and dotted.
