Good luck - can I ask what its for - I have been through radiotherapy in the past

I'll be alright lads, my main worry is just that I'll not get signal to check what's happening with the takeover! I've just had thyroid cancer, it's not a really bad one at my age (36) and they've taken my thyroid out a few weeks ago so all should be okay. They did a CT scan prior to the surgery and found it had spread to both of my lymph nodes and the next step would be my lungs. Because of that they removed all the lumps they could find but because of the extent it had spread, and in case any small cells that couldn't be picked up on the scan had made it to my lungs, they've just got me to come in for a radioactive iodine tablet treatment. By all accounts it will blast any remaining cells. So I'm stuck in here while I'm radioactive for a few days and then they'll scan me again regularly over the next few months to make sure it's all been dealt with and nothings coming back. Assuming this works I should be clear and have normal life expectancy, so I'm actually incredibly lucky.

Thanks for the messages everyone , really appreciate it!

Is Johnson really that bad like? I've not looked at it closely but his teams always seemed to have done well (tin hat on, firmly secured and another tin hat ready in case this one damaged)

It's his streakiness that puts me off. Our fans would not stand for losing 5 in a row, even if it was following winning 5 in a row. We're not patient enough. His lack of promotions puts me off too.

There was a period where Bristol City were a side to be feared in the Championship. Not sure how long that lasted though

Good luck with it mate!! Hopefully some good news to come before!

I'm about to start radiation treatment, basically got to sit in a lead lined room for 3 days. I'm hoping I still get phone signal, would be a massive pisser if I miss everything (good or bad) having done nowt but refresh this bloody thread and it's smb counterpart for ****ing months!
Prayers for you marra and hope your lass goes easy on you.

Look at it logically you complete berk.

They retweeted initially 3 articles in quick succession, the first being 'needing a touch of magic by making a 'bold statement' about appointing a manager, the second being 'readers corner, RR Alan Smith giving his views on the potential new manager', and thirdly, a specific one about Lee Johnson.

You now have people on the SMB stating it's Johnson and betting significantly closing in on suggesting its him. Local media, RR and Journos have now tweeted indicating something is very close or announcement is due.

It's not my fault you can't clearly see what's going on infront of you, I do however hope i have got the complete wrong end of the stick and it isn't Johnson.
Doesn’t matter if it ends up being Johnson. It might very well be. The point I’m making is you jumped on here and RTG spouting absolute nonsense saying Roker Report were retweeting multiple things about Johnson. Which they weren’t. You even just admitted, they retweeted one thing, amongst their others. Which they do every day. You are the only berk here mate.

Its going to be him isnt it. Bad bad move in my opinion would much rather have the Cowleys. This new structure certainly has a lot to live up to with going from Poyet to Johnson inside a week.
