To be fair, that’s exactly what has happened for the last 2 and a half years.

Sartori has 20% and has done nothing. Methven has been on site and running things daily with 6%.

Oddly enough I'm in a similar scenario so I would definitely agree with that... I (and my other half) invested nothing other than knowledge and got a wage + 20% of a business... we run almost all aspects of it apart from the odd disagreement where rank is pulled, we lose and a decision is made against our wishes.

The idea of Methven running things doesn't ring true to me but the possibility is real still.

I can see both sides to what the fans are saying about poyet and I wasn’t a fan of the way he carried himself towards the end of his spell but of the names mentioned, he would be my choice personally. Its not often a manager with a 60% win rate in a top European league ends up managing in a third tier in his next job. It would show some ambition by the new owners imo.

I think our biggest mistake with managers in the past has been to get them here by all means necessary, for them to then find out it wasn't what they signed up for.

It has to be a good thing if both Manager and DOF are aware of the task and their roles from the off.

People come on here to chat and expect to back up what they're saying, and that's posters who've been here a decade.

You're just another 'new poster' who will probably have a sulk and vanish as many do.

It appears you spend far too much time with people who always agree with you and hang on your every word.

If that's what you're expecting here you're seriously mistaken.

Makes you laugh mate when he says that salmon pants has been to home games this season but when you ask which ones he isnt allowed to say.
The thing is he can go to as many home games as he wants while we aren't allowed in.
At the end of the day he owns 6% of the club. Just because he goes to a few home games when fans aren't allowed in doesn't mean he's running the show.
I have a feeling when we are allowed back in he'll decide not to bother
