His name seems to have been mentioned a few times over a number of years.
I must admit that he wasn’t someone I’d have chosen myself as he has seemingly had a mixed career to date.
Better than Parkinson but that’s a subterranean bar.
Hope we have someone better in line but we’ll see.

Ive just did in depth research on him from wikipedia and its a no from me :D

Michael Appleton would be a fantastic appointment in my opinion. Really highly regarded at the clubs he’s been at.

I actually met him in a coffee shop in Shoreditch shorty after we appointed Jack Ross. I sat with him for a bit and he told me that he was on the verge of signing the contract to become our manager before Leicester suddenly pulled the plug as they wanted him to stay. Then we moved on and got Ross.

I got the impression he was very intelligent and talked brilliantly about football and how it should be approached to get a team promoted out of League One. He seemed disappointed to have not gotten a chance as our manager. Would love him here. Think he’d do well.
Appleton is on par with Parkinson in my view

Just my personal opinion but I’d like to think if a takeover goes through we’d be a lot more ambitious than that. Appleton is the sort of appointment I’d expect donald to make if he was still owner and Parkinson got sacked. That’s not to say it would be disastrous but simply wouldn’t be ambitious.

Is this fact or opinion that it was made up?
If it were my kid, then I would of had the police round immediately and there would of been arrests, there is no way that the bollocks he spouted then was true, would you just have a friendly chat with 3 random strangers that had escorted your daughter from the school bus (bearing in mind the whole country was in total lockdown and all schools were closed at the time :emoticon-0145-shake) i will let you make your own mind up.

Thats what any sensible father would do...

absolutely mate, the bloke lives in a different universe to the rest of us.
Stew’s been out of his depth since Charlie approached him to buy the club but that child abduction crack was it for me.

Proof that he’d lost the plot and all credibility.
