On a serious note though, it it doesn't happen now it's an absolute joke and there will be specific folk to blame. Let's hope it's all as it is currently and just sails through.
I'm praying (can you tell I'm catholic) we get to the nice bit of this massive journey soon. Several books could be written about the whole saga, but that's just SAFC isn't it. I'd hate our club to be boring!

I can honestly remember sitting in Dawdon club in seaham genuinely being cockeyed and seeing 3 of everyone drinking that!

Reminds me my mate's story, my mate being of the unfortunate persuasion.

The lad he used to go to the match with was a serious wet hand, and having both being used to going to matches and standing, ended up getting a seat together when that became inevitable.

His mate kept up the heavy match drinking- a little easier by now as the drink had become easier to get in the ground - but complained that he was constantly seeing two of everything once the match had started. Not to be tempered and seemingly a resourceful chap this lad had worked out that if he kept one hand over one eye he could more or less watch until half time, and was okay after that.

So, my mate said to him something along the lines of, "Just leave it out a bit, we'll have a beer after the match. It's spoiling the game for you". His mate said nowt, but mumbled about knowing what he would do to sort it.

His mate turned up to the next match, drank in his usual frantic manner, and as the match was about to start, pulled out one of those elastic eye patch things, put it on and claimed he could see everything a clear as a bell !

Little wonder my mate doesn't go now....

I agree mate. It has had all sorts and frankly not even 10% has come out into the public eye. It's very close at the moment and as I have said, from my information anyway, if it doesn't happen now, it's down to one individual.

However, that's not to say he will do that, at this moment in time.

Is that Liz Hurley? Outstanding! I read the other day that she decided Hollywood wasn’t for her and retired
Yeah it is. She spends most of her time modelling and promoting her fashion lines now. I think she's back in the UK now. And believe me, she coukd still pass for someone much younger th n she is and has a body women half her age would due for!
