LCL. Looney c*nts lager as it was affectionately known.

My favourite snakebite is the beer that cannot be named in case RAW is reading but it's initials are NBA and its now brewed in Tadcaster with any cider I could get. It deffo had the desired effect and saw me doing an impression of a Border Collie and crawling home a few times
The Fed brewery did LCL on draught too. Another night I can't remember other than the 1st pint.

AKA "dogbite"

I have to be honest and say the mention of LCL in clubs has brought back memories I wish had stayed forgotten!

But a single malt is a thing of absolute beauty. AnCnoc is my choice - it is truly lovely.

As for the takeover, I have everything crossed. Momentum is a huge thing and I think a takeover would give a massive shove in that respect. Sunderland supporters, in my experience, look out for each other. That is why I love reading posts from those lads that get some intel. I never assume there are guarantees, I am too old for that, but I know a genuine lad when I see (read) one. It is clear now, based on stuff in the public domain, that things are happening that will probably lead to change. Even if it doesnt remember us Sunderland lads look out for each other - this club will always last because of us suppprters!

Must be time for a malt in the hope I can forget LCL again...

Caol Ila

I've got a slab of fosters (I know , look at how classy I am!). Here's hoping it happens, I mean there's surely only so many times a deal can look likely, then look off, then look likely again. Feel like we've bet red on roulette and the ball keeps jumping about. Must be starting to slow now though, surely!

If the pit boss calls this off the casino will riot mate.

I can honestly remember sitting in Dawdon club in seaham genuinely being cockeyed and seeing 3 of everyone drinking that!

Hear hear! Beer and takeover talk.
I've had the most surreal and sh***y 6 months, but what keeps me going physically and mentally is 'something to look forward to'. Having a quiet drink on a comfy sofa, and praying for some hope for my club, just about cancels out the pandemic sh**e.
I'd like to use this drunken rant to thank you all for putting up with such b***ocks and giving me 'something to look forward to'. :emoticon-0167-beer:<cheers>

This thread has been a bunch of fellas and lasses popping into the local club for a few pints and leaving as somebody else arrives for a natter
