No take over talks

SD is NB’s source

Will be no different as it was no different at the end of Sept

SD is playing the fans to get to into the start of the season, hoping we start well, take over talk will go quiet, he still has the FPP loan, the club/SD will come out and pretend the Takeover talk was legit and that nothing could be agreed and they are still actively trying to sell

SD will try and get through another season to get us promoted before finally seeing the writing in the wall

FFP are still the main driving force but won’t pay the asking price of £37m

Storey is a charlatan/fantasist

We’ll still be talking about a ‘fake over’ in Oct

Enjoy Sept and we’ll speak soon
Bye

It's both ways. NQD has his views on what is happening and most of us find them bewildering based on what we heard from Barnes last night, and Magnus, Prehab etc recently. However he still has those views and they won't last forever and will be proved right or wrong in the next 2-4 weeks.

There's no point challenging him on it further - he's pushing back and defending himself so obviously feels strongly. He's either going to be proved right or wrong - let's just accept he has a differing view and wait and see. Him posting every now and then saying he's heard its not happening, is not stopping the rest of us assuming and discussing that it is happening.

Sort of agree. Expressing a view or opinion is one thing, saying you have ITK knowledge is a different kettle of fish. And NQD is claiming to have ITK information that Barnes is being lied to and no takeover talks at all have happened. Additionally, he was too familair with both here and PF not to have been before and lied about it, so from my point of view any thing he posts will be looked at through the lens of him being a trolling wum. Same posting school as Johnson, the rat, kittens, kildare, blah, ****ing blah. Long list of ****nuts who make the boards a ****ter place to be imo.

Why would he be doing that in your opinion? Why would he engineer a situation where he starts the season with the fans of his club, whose money he needs now more than ever, pissed off and rebellious?

I know there have been rumblings in the past that haven't worked out, but if it was the likes of Campbell there's a legitimate reason that fell through and it's not because Donald made it all up it's because he wasn't suitable.

**** plot, lack of believable characters, flat tone. Overall, a poor piece of fiction, must try harder. 1/10.

Mate, you know a hell of a lot regarding SD's plans for the forthcoming season, I dont really rubbish anybodys claims of what people claim to know but this I cant believe. Since Donald has bought our club he has told us different story every other week, tried to sell the club since day 1, it has been the most unstable tenure of any owner we have ever had and now you can tell us you know his plans for the next year? As far as I can see the man doesnt know what hes doing tomorrow never mind the next 12 months so I have got to say I dont really believe you

Really?

I would have that billionaire owner back in a heartbeat as long as he brought his early years mentality with him and applied some of the things he most definitely learned during his time here (admittedly he will have learned them the hard way). That version of Ellis Short would bring the good times back quickly I have no doubt.
Yep, really. He started off ok and was interested for a bit. It wasn't as easy as he thought and his time at the club was ultimately characterised by poor decision making, especially after Quinn left. With no one with an understanding of how a football club should be run, his mistakes, and those of the people he appointed, increased in frequency. Hence, a billionaire is fine but they need to know what they're doing or have the right people in place.

Cheers for the update Chris.

You are really boring the tits off me now you u-turn quicker than the tories during covid and contradict yourself all the time please shut up you’ve said your piece

The takeover denier should be banned!

Listened to NB on the podcast... His idea of corroborating what he was told was speaking to a lawyer friend with no knowledge of what may be going on at the club just to verify the Covid delay train was plausible. Not what I was hoping for tbh.

to be fair he said his corroborations included that. he didnt elaborate who else he corroborated with but said there were others

He has got to be classed as better than what we currently have though, barring the last few years where he pretty much pulled the funding we had some high profile appointments and some excitement to look forward to. At the time decisions were being made very few would have predicted they would turn out so poor. It was like we were cursed at times.

We have nothing under this conman just the hope that change will come and that he wont **** it all up again.

The problem people have with him is that, he has all the bases covered if there is in fact a takeover in the near future. Thats why people are doubting him. TBF he seems like he is either a know it all or a WUM.

I thought it was pretty obvious from long before he left that he (or Byrne) didn't know what they were doing. We lurched from one way of doing things to another, he couldn't make his mind up about a DofF, he appointed managers with vastly differing approaches rather building on what he'd already put in place.
Not everything he did was wrong and he was unlucky in some respects. But then you could say the same about Donald- if one or two more things had gone his way, he wouldn't be as hated as he is.
