I've always thought that Parky was just a short term (and cheap!) appointment and that he's been aware from the start that he'd be peddled as soon as we went up. His only chance of staying long term would be if Donald couldn't get a buyer, as soon as we were sold or new investors came in, he'd be out.

He must be terminally thick, he could have used a VPN to hide his IP address, pretending to be someone else though, pretty much sums up his mental health status for me though. Fcuking pathetic behaviour.
Don't think we have to worry about the crazy bastard as he won't pass the EFL test as his company has just been declared bankrupt
Agreed mate but I hope whether it’s the new DOF or the new owners, someone makes it a priority to speak with people who have been here before. People like Allardyce, Poyet, DiCanio even the likes of Grayson and Coleman. These people must have some idea of how they intended to fix things when they first came here, and what obstacles they found put in their way which stopped them doing that. I’d love to see the new people take on board our past mistakes and make sure they never happen again.
Where's this Matt Dawson story come from,? https://www.givemesport.com/1618623...al-interest-from-a-separate-party?autoplay=on "Donald has always reiterated the point that if further investment comes to Sunderland, he still wants to be part of the project to ensure his voice is heard."
In life you nearly always get what you pay for and Football Managers are no different , when PP was appointed their were other people such as Pearson being mentioned so we went bargain basement and PP was given the job . Pearson wanted his Management Team to be appointed alongside him , quite sensible as they had worked together for quite a while but far too expensive for SD but they essentially had developed and built the Leicester team that won the Premier League whilst together though it was won under Ranieri . Let’s hope we derive a lot of benefit from the takeover and appoint a DOF who is someone with the background to appoint a suitable Management team to take the Club forward with an infrastructure suited to the long term rather than the sticking plaster fixes we are accustomed to . I am sure whoever is appointed will already be working behind the scenes in order to hit the ground running as their are quite a few positions to fill .
Totally agree, in the last 25 years the only person on the management side, either admin or football , would be Big Sam. We need the place wiped clean with strong disinfectant. From a sentimental viewpoint I can see the attraction of a Reid/SKP team but I wouldn't want to see their reputation at the club soured, also other than with us Reid has a crap cv as a manager. All in my opinion of course.
I personally think that there's been a few bids in and I wouldn't be surprised if Donald had played them off against each other to raise the price or get the best deal. And it's likely that there will be someone in the wings in case this falls through, just based on his previous track record of ballsing things up with takeovers.
That’s got to be click bait, taken from this forum and RTG, just trying to get people to bite, what do you reckon @Smug in Boots @Magnus @Prehab26 @Wheatsheaf
